meet cara

Cara grew up in Far North Dallas, graduated from JJ Pearce High School and UT Austin with a BBA. After college, Cara married her childhood sweetheart, Barry, and began a professional career in Human Resources. Cara and Barry bought their first house in District 12 and started their family. As their three sons got older, Cara had a second career as a non-profit executive.

Cara has been a life long advocate for children and communities, and a recognized volunteer leader of many service organizations in the Greater Dallas area (see below).

Cara and Barry recently celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary.
